Chenna Sandesh!

A Bengali delight...

  1. Milk - 1 litre
  2. Lemon - 1 Small Size
  3. Milk powder - 3 Spoons
  4. Powdered Sugar - As per taste
  5. Elaichi powder - 1/2 spoon
  6. Dry fruits and saffron
Method :
In a pan add milk and bring to boil. Add lemon juice spoon by spoon and stir till the milk curdles and strain it to make paneer. In a tava, cook on low flame the strained paneer, add milk powder and mix it thoroughly. Now add powdered sugar and elaichi powder and keep mixing for 5 mins. Transfer it to tray or bowl and allow it to cool. You can now cut it into pieces as you desire and garnish with dryfruits and saffron. Pls note: If you want soft and smooth sandesh mash the panneer nicely before cooking it in order to get soft paneer.
